Ur Priceless Blog Hop

I am So excited to share my little pouch with you today, as part of the UR Priceless blog hop! A huge thanks to Katherine form Sew Me Something Good who has been so great to cheer us all on! I love her enthusiasm. This has been a great event, and I absolutely am loving all the beauties that people have made so far! Here's the rest of the line up for today, make sure to stop by and check them out!

This pouch was made with a 3" sew in frame. The pattern is by Madame Samm from Sew We Quilt. It is a great pattern, she did a wonderful job. I've never actually made a frame pouch before. I got my first introduction at sewing summit, but I'm still working on that one (adding some embroidery to it before I finish). This sew-in idea was totally new to me. A little tricky at first, but I actually rather like it! :) And I LOVE how this turned out. I think I'm ready to make about 100 more! ;)

for my fabric I used Erin McMorris's La Dee Da fabric for the outside,
and Beth White's Stitch for the inside.

I sewed my frame in with some green pearl cotton.

Such a great size, and such a great pattern. I think when I make more, the only thing I'll change is to sew the lining with a bit more generous seam allowances. It's a little poofy in there, and I like my linings to be a bit more snug and fitted. A little bit larger seam allowances would take care of that I think. :)

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Purchase the pattern here. And 3" sew-in frames are available in a variety of shops, but I purchased mine at I Have a Notion. All the purses made during the hop are also being pinned on Pinterest: UR Priceless Coin Purse Blog Hop.
