New Pattern: Simple Celestial + Giveaway!!

Hi! Yep, I'm still here! Although my blogging goal hasn't been happening. I think I even wrote a blog post last week, and I'm not sure why I didn't post it. Anyway, I'm back with another new pattern! And that's always fun! :)

Say hello to Simple Celestial!

This block is exactly what it implies, a simple version of my Celestial Star pattern! It has many of the same design features, yet with simpler construction! Instead of the perhaps daunting 12 sections of the Celestial Star, the Simple Celestial has a basic 8 sections - more common and much easier to piece and line up those center seams! YAY! :)

Compare the above block to the blocks in my Celestial Star quilt:

This is definitely another favorite!

And while the block is simpler, it still has a variety of ways that it can be pieced together! Check just a few of the designs I came up with on my computer:

I love the border options you can make with this block!

and I LOVE these repeats!!

I REALLY want to make a quilt like this! Wouldn't that be gorgeous?!!

This pattern is available on Craftsy, Etsy and in my shop

It comes in 9 inch, 12 inch, and 18 inch finished block sizes, or buy the bundle option and save!

Something new I did with this pattern is that I formatted the 24 inch pattern to fit on legal size paper (8.5in x 14in)! This means that you don't have to tape any of the pieces together!! As far as I know, every printer should be able to handle this size paper (check your printer if you are unsure before purchasing this pattern size). And legal paper is available at a wide range of stores! Office supply stores, amazon, Walmart, and perhaps even your local grocery store. I'm interested to see how popular this option is and would love to hear your feedback! :)

Would you like to win a free copy of the pattern in all sizes???

Use the rafflecopter below to enter:

Giveaway ends at 12 am PST on Tuesday May 26th (that's midnight on Monday)

Good luck!

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. You are amazing! I don't know how you do all of this. Between working, the little guy, trying to keep the house in order, and finding sewing time designing isn't happening as quickly as I would like. You inspire me to keep pushing. I love the simple version.

  2. I love the way your brain works dissecting that original pattern and with your fabric placements looks like you have 12 different patterns all because of the value of your fabric choices. Absolutely GORGEOUS! Thanks for the chance.
