Mouthy Stitches Pouch Swap

I guess I should share my pouch that I made for the Mouthy Stitches pouch swap. It doesn't compare in the slightest with Eva's pouch, but I had a lot of fun making it! Want to see???

It was fun to "draw"-sew. Ok, I don't know what to call it, turning my actual drawing into a sewing project, but it was fun. I could do more of this. I was really nervous about how it would end up, and actually didn't have a lot of hope for it. But in the end I really like it! and enjoyed making it!!

Here's the back. I thought this print would be the most fun with it. I don't know.

My partner's inspiration mosaic was chuck full of these flat clutches/pencil cases. Some of the designs I definitely could have had in my mosaic, but overall her style was a bit different than mine. It made it a little challenging to come up with something that wasn't "me" and still come up with something that she would like. I really hope she likes this (I'm kind of nervous).

Here's the inside:

I put a little divider pocket on the inside, you know, to keep things organized. I'm all about that!

I also added a card pocket in case she decides to use it as a clutch.

It's big enough for scissors and plenty of sewing goods, or about the size as my clutch that I use for my wallet. Multi-functional is good right?!

I loaded it chock full of scraps:

And they are just that. scraps. Everything comes from something that I've used recently. I hope she likes them!

So there it is. my pouch.
