Guess what??? I WON! A bit ago Lindsay, from Lindsay Sews, emailed me telling me I won the Traveling Stash Giveaway! (read all about how it got started here.) How awesome is that?! Basically it's a box full of sewing goodness, fabric, patterns, notions, etc. I get to pick and keep what I want, and then fill it to the brim with some of my own stash, then send it on to the next winner! :) Yep, that's right! You can win this too! :)
Look at this yummy stuff!
It's like a party on my doorstep!!
Just looking through all of this is so much fun in and of itself.

Oh, I've been wanting the traveling stash to visit my home for awhile now! My dream stash would be comprised of fabrics dyed and printed by me, but beefed up with selected others. Lack of time is all that is stopping this from happening.

Maybe I'd limit myself to the entire color palette of the shot cottons to play with as I see fit! What an inspiring giveaway. Thank you for the chance to pass it along!

ReplyDeleteOh, what fun is this! I'm not too sure I have too much of anything. lol But I suppose that my dream prize would have some of the different kinds of threads in it because I always want to see what's good in that area, but can't bring myself to spend my stash money on something so mundane! Anyway, thanks for sharing. I don't normally participate in giveaways, but I really like the idea of paying it forward with this one.
ReplyDeleteMy dream stash? Oh gosh. Just a little bit of that Heather Ross fabric with the goldfishes in bags. You know the one, the one that sells for approximately a million dollars a yard on Etsy? Haha! I love the idea of the traveling stash - fingers crossed! Thanks for the chance. :)

ReplyDeleteMy dream stash would have Denyse Schmidt, Heather Ross, Lizzy House and lots of basics I could mix and match. I'd really like a few patterns too - esp ones with more difficult pieces like Single Girl.
ReplyDeleteWow! What a great idea! I would love to win this and I would definitely fill it up and send it along to someone else. It would be great to get fabric scraps in the traveling stash, and some rulers that do neat tricks like make your quilt binding nice and neat. I would add some green fabric (I have a ton) and probably some glow in the dark thread; it looks so fun this would encourage me to buy some for myself too.
ReplyDeleteI have way too many blue FQ's..like 50-ish. And it's not even my favorite color! My dream stash would at least have one bag pattern in it 'cause I've yet to make a bag.
ReplyDeleteThat box looks amazing....I would love to have the chance to pick through the stash and then add to it from my own collection. I love new sewing notions, thread, buttons, patterns, etc. I would love adding to the fun and being a part of this!
