Garden Party Blog Hop: Potted Roses

garden-party.jpg

Have you been following the Paper Pieced Garden Party Blog Hop over at Sewhooked?! If not, you should really go check out all the amazing blocks! They are truly amazing! :)

If you are coming from Sewhooked, Welcome!! :) Today is my day to share with you my little creation, and I couldn't be more excited! I hope you'll sit and stay a while.

Garden-Party-Potted-Roses

I call it: Potted Roses

Here is my mock up of it:

I've made a few paper pieced patterns before, but this is my first picture one. It was such a fun process!! I think the hardest part is picking out the fabric!

When Jennifer first mentioned the Garden Theme for her blog hop, I first thought of rows of vegetables and carrots. But since we currently live in an home without any gardening space, we do a lot of container gardening. That is what ultimately led me to this design. :)

Would you like to make this pattern? You can down load it from my craftsy shop OR download the pattern right from my blog HERE.

Just to warn you, it is made up of 4 pages of patterns, and a final instruction sheet for the pot. The pot pieces fill an entire letter sized paper. If the edges don't print completely, just make sure to cut out the paper 1/4" from the inner square of each pot piece.

I hope you enjoy this block and pattern! Please let me know if you have any problems or come across any errors. Be sure to share it in the Garden Party Flickr Group so you can be entered to win Jennifer's weekly prize!! :) (you can add it in the from blank pages... flickr group too!!)

As an added little bonus to help celebrate in Jennifer's blogging birthday party, I am also offering a discount to my Etsy shop! Use coupon code "GardenParty" and receive 15% off your order! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by! :)

and Happy Birthday Jennifer!
Thanks you for letting me take part in this fantastic blog hop party!! :)
