January's projects were pretty simple, but nice to get some things finished!
I made two Love mug rugs:
one as part of Sandi's Learn More Sew More event:
I REALLY love having a square mug rug. I think it's my new favorite mug rug shape!
You can download this LOVE pattern on Craftsy. It includes the uppercase and lowercase letters.
(Or if you feel like making a small donation, you can purchase the pattern in any of my shops for $2.)
I LOVE the combination of this print and the raspberry colored polka dot binding. I don't really like dots, but I am in LOVE with this one! (all prints in this mug rug are from V and Co.) So yep, I like the back as much as the front. I wanted to keep this one. ;)
Both of these projects were also made completely with my stash!! Wahoo for #SewYourStash2015! - check out the hashtag on Instagram. Basically the goal is to use fabric from your stash for at least 75% of every project you make. I'm thinking that will be an easy goal this year!! (Unless I can actually destash as much fabric as I'd like to this year... then I might just be buying fabric per project, which would be nice too.) ;)
And then I made this pillow with these fabulous Adornit fabrics. We've all loved having this one on my couch!
P.s. Congrats OhioLori, you won the giveaway!
The pattern I used is Trees At Night, and you can purchase it in any of my shops including Bigcartel, and Payhip if you are in the EU.
And that's it! Simple but sweet! I have a stack of projects to finish up this month, so hopefully my list will be a little longer for February! (I have 3 quilts that are ready to baste and quilt. 2 pillows to finish, a wall hanging that is almost finished, and I'm sure a number of other odd small little projects that I could add to the list.)
Happy February everyone!!
Are you making lists of your finishes too?!
I just used your letter pattern for my Tula Pink Mini Quilt top and it's wonderful I can't wait to be able to show it off (but it spells my partners name so I can't show it till after she receives it in March.
ReplyDeleteNice job on your finishes! And Yay for sewing your stash!
