The pattern comes with 3 pages of instructions and tips, including how to add a little variation to your patterns.
It also includes a paper piecing pattern for every letter of the alphabet (all uppercase).
If you are new to paper piecing, you can find a complete tutorial on my blog HERE (including a supply list and tips for cutting and finishing your blocks).
So let's try this out! All the ways to enter are in the Rafflecopter. If you have any questions, or it doesn't seem to be working, let me know. :) (UPDATE: I think I fixed it so you can answer the question in the Rafflecopter if you don't want to leave a comment on the blog. I can still read your answers either way, and love all the ideas so far!! My to-do list is getting longer!) :)
The giveaway is open from now until Wed, Feb 6th at midnight!
I will pick a winner on Thursday after I figure out how to pick one. ;)
Thanks for playing along!
I'd make a quilt for my daughter with her name on it!
ReplyDeleteI would make a wall-hanging with a word of inspiration on it such as "Love, Faith, Joy, Peace"
ReplyDeleteObviously, I don't know how to use rafflecopter because my "answer" for the first entry is blank. What I meant to say was "I'd make a wallhanging for above Baby's crib. Lots of family based words since we don't know Baby's gender or name yet." 2 more months!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I couldn't figure out how to make rafflecopter work, either. I think I'd make a sewing-themed mini for my sewing space. Maybe "keep calm and sew on" or just some sewing words. Awesome giveaway, Diane!
ReplyDeleteI wasn't able to write in my word... I'd like to do an inspirational quote. Or maybe just my son's name since it only has 5 letters... Jacob
ReplyDeleteI'd make my word for 2013... FINISH!
ReplyDelete"QUILTING BLISS" in Bliss, to go above my design boards at my sewing desks. :D
ReplyDeleteI would make a quilt for my friend who is pregnate, I would do the baby's name :)
ReplyDeleteI'd make a wall hanging with my son's name on it for his room. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteYour letters are wonderful! I would make a pillow cover that said 'SLEEP' .
ReplyDeleteMy first word would be on a wallhanging that would say CALM, does that hint at the kind of day I'm having so far?!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the chance :)
Thank you Dianne for sharing your fantastic pattern! I'm also mixed with this rufflecopter - should I write my answer some where else ... I would like to make my blog's name (why I have chosen so long name?) or perhaps just lots of letters on a wall quilt.

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely giveaway. I have admired your letters, they're favorites in my etsy account. I think I would consider the word "Faithful" and make myself a wall hanging. Of course, there are a lot of other words that could be written too, if I happened to win. Thanks for a lovely giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI have a quilt for my mom thats lyrics, "go big or go home" I say :)
ReplyDeleteI'd make our nieces pillows with their names that match the quilts I've made them :)
ReplyDeleteI would make a little quilt that says WELCOME to hang on the door.
ReplyDeleteI would use the letters to spell Faith into a pillow for the living room. I just adore these letters and I love paper piecing. Win, win I believe. :)
ReplyDeleteWow, turns out my idea isn't that original but I would make wall hangings of my kids names. Would love to win!
ReplyDeleteSo much fun! I've been wanting to try paper piecing for about a year so I can make items for my great nieces & nephews even cuter! This will do the trick!
ReplyDeleteOh, I'd first use the letters on burp cloths!
DeleteI could lie and say I'd make my name or something like that. But honeslty, I'd probably make a curse word or something like "poop". I'm very juvenile like that.
ReplyDeleteHmm, maybe I'd make a little curse word lap quilt for my sister. She'd probably love that.
I would make the word WELCOME on a little quilt and hang it on the little section of my balcony above the entry walk when you enter my home. What a cool idea this is!
