I have a whole list of projects that I'm working on for the 2012 Finish Along at Quilter in the Gap. You can find that post here if you want.
Besides those I also need a new purse and picked out some fabrics for it yesterday.
I LOVE Heather Ross and think this would be so fun! Neil does not love it, but I do. I have been searching for the perfect purse for a long time now, and decided to try drafting my own pattern. But there is NO WAY I can cut into HR on a new, untested pattern...
so I picked out some Denyse Schmidt fabrics for a practice purse.
I still couldn't cut into that either so I made up a tiny pattern and am using some fuglies to make a mini purse.
I am kind of excited about this! I wanted to link it up to the Purse Palooza, but today is the last day, so we'll see if I make it.
here is the original pattern I drafted, but I've since made a lot of adjustments that I'm really excited about! I love making bags!
I also have this fabric that I am working with for a secret project! mwahaha! I am getting really excited about this one.
Anyway, I think that about does it for this week! Oh, and I also am going to help Marika with a block, but I haven't even started that one yet. Go check out her post and her cause and help her out if you want! It's a great story, ok, a really sad story. Anyway, I love the internet and that it's so easy to help others that you would never ever meet any other way, or even know about. A good reminder that there are a lot of great people in the world!
Happy Wednesday! :)
