New Pattern: Rockstar! A SALE! and a Giveaway!

It's HERE! My newest, and maybe favorite, pattern is now available! And I am SO excited! I announced it on Instagram last night, and I am overwhelmed with the response I've received. THANK YOU!

Meet...
Rockstar!

I added the borders and will be making this into a pillow for my boys room. It'll match perfectly with the new twin size quilts I am going to make for their beds, using the same pattern - though they will look much differently than this.

The pattern is available in my shop, Etsy (purchase here if you are in the EU), or Craftsy (US only).

and It's ON SALE for the next 24 hours!!

This is the main design of the pattern, which, at least to me, looks like a design I would use if I were going to make a quilt for an actual rock star. ;) lol. I love it! This pillow created with a repeat of 4 blocks. Each block uses 6 different pattern templates to create the block.

The best part?! The pattern templates can be rearranged and used together or alone to create a huge number of different designs!

Here are just a few examples, each of which I show you in the pattern how to create them (there are also coloring pages for all of these and more, so you can come up with your own designs!):

Really it's like buying a million patterns in one! (Ok, not a million, but a lot!)

I want to make all of these!

The very bottom right one is going to be the quilt I make for my new baby girl. I was going to use my Star Gazing pattern, but this one is too perfect not to make!

Here are the quilts my boys want:

I'm excited to finally have a design that everyone likes for their quilts. Everyone really likes this pattern! :)

Tester Blocks

I had some awesome testers who made some "WOW" blocks!! Check these out!

Sarah (@123quilt on Instagram) made this block:

and check out this AMAZING repeat pattern she made!! This blows my mind! I LOVE how those dark colors look like transparent overlapping shapes in the center! very cool!

And Sophie (@snophiejo on Instagram) made this really stunning block!! I LOVE it!!!

 Aren't these AWESOME?!!

Quilt Along Anyone???

I'm thinking I just might be crazy enough to host a quilt along with this pattern. What do you think?!! Would anyone be interested? I'm not sure if I'll do it quite as intensely as I did the Celestial Star QAL last summer (which I don't think I'd be able to do anyway, since I'm having a baby in July), but it would be fun to do something low key! :)

and a Giveaway!!

Use the rafflecopter below to enter for your chance to win the complete pattern - with ALL 4 sizes (6 inch, 9 inch, 12 inch and 18 inch).

Ends Monday!
If you purchase the pattern before the giveaway ends (because it's on sale!!), and you win, I'll refund your purchase!

 a Rafflecopter giveaway

You can find the pattern in my shop, on Etsy (purchase here if you are in the EU), or Craftsy (US only).

If you make something with this pattern, be sure to tag it on Instagram with #fbpRockstar so I can be sure to see it!! I can't wait!! :) And tag all your creations using any of my patterns with #fbpPatterns - it really brightens my day to see the beautiful projects you create! Thanks!

Good luck!!

  6. Strangest thing ~ I just got this in my inbox today December 20th 2016! I'm glad I did because I love this star, but still, it is a bit strange considering you sent this post on April 22, 2015.
